My company's sports day

My company held its second Sports Festival last June 19, 2010. The guest of honor was Neungyule Education CEO Kim Joon Hee.

This is me with my co-managers. From left, Rizza, Kirgy, Leah, May, Ian, Jenny, Tracey and I.

I was part of the team who took care of the day's program. I was busy, busy, BUSY! :)

The other managers and I also danced in the program.

Our shift's cheerdancing team.

The employees all pumped up to start the day's festivities.

The basketball game.

With the CEO.

Employees played three games - basketball, volleyball and badminton. The program also included the cheerdancing competition and special dance numbers from the managers. We have been planning the event for almost three months, and I'm glad that the event was a fun and successful one. The CEO, who's on his second trip to oversee Neungyule's Philippine operations, promised to be back in December for the company's year-end party.

Missing my university friends

I was supposed to meet my university friends earlier, but I had to cancel because I suddenly had an emergency. It's rare that I see them because we have different work schedules and we live and work far away from each other.

With my good friends Francis and Chan during our summer trip last March. Francis works in a bank and Chan works in a hotel.

During our friend Rachel's wedding last January. From left: Francis, Krystel, Chan, Rachel's husband Eich, Rachel, Ryan and I.

With Ronald and Diana last April. Ronald is a university professor and Diana is an actress.

With Mai-Mai (on the right) on our friend Lea's wedding last December 2007. Lea is managing her family's hotel and resort, while Mai Mai is shuttles between Manila and Malaysia for her work as a marketing manager.

My friends and I rarely meet these days because of our work and location, so we make sure to set a date and do a lot of things when see each other.

Send in the clown

Bored clown, 2007

Welcome to my new blog. I opened my first blog in 2001 in Yahoo! Geocities and moved to a full website in 2003. However, due to my busy schedule back in the latter part of college (which were actually very interesting to have been written) and early years of working (which involved maintaining websites for clients), I stopped and forgot about blogging altogether. When I attempted to open this a month ago, I planned to link it to my old blog, but it turns out, Geocities was closed almost seven months ago. All those blog posts and pictures - gone. It could have been interesting to go back and read what I've thought when I was younger, but I think it's time to look forward and see what could be written in the future...
